Cameron Champ in hunt at Nor Cal Open

ROCKLIN, California — Today, the second day of the 2013 Northern California Open Championship, the cut was made to include the low six amateurs, and the low 36 and ties for PGA and Tour Professionals.
In the lead among the Professionals is Scott Smith (Fallon, NV) with a two-day score of 5-under par 137. Eighteen year old high school student Cameron Champ (Sacramento, CA) continued his position as the lead amateur with a two-day score of 1-under par 141.
In addition, there was a hole-in-one by Marcus Judge of Haggin Oaks Golf Course (Fair Oaks, CA) on the 12th hole. This three-day championship is being contested at Whitney Oaks Golf Club (Par 71) in Rocklin, California.
