Denny McCarthy wins Maryland Open

TOWSON, Maryland (July 10, 2013) -- University of Virginia standout Denny McCarthy fired a final-round 66 to win by one shot over Rick Schuller at the 92nd Maryland Open.
McCarthy, who was in third place entering the final round, outlasted the runner-up, who finished a 67. Dick Schultz, another professional, shot 66 to close by finished four shots off the pace set by McCarthy.
Amateur Keith Unikel was fourth at 1-under while Chris Baloga, another amateur, was tied for fifth place.

member clubs of the MSGA with an
up-to-date USGA index at that club of 5.4
or
less as, and to male professionals.
Open will be 54 holes of stroke play
with successive cuts to low 80 scores and
ties
and those within eight strokes of the low
score
and then low 40 scores and ties for the
final
round.
