Opened in 1999 to rave reviews, Bandon Dunes
is a links course built on a beautiful stretch of sand dunes perched 100 feet above the Pacific Ocean on the Southern Oregon Coast. Designed by Scotsman David McLay Kidd, seven holes run along the edge of the bluff overlooking the beach and all eighteen holes offer breathtaking ocean views. If you've never played in Scotland or Ireland, this may be the first chance you've ever had to play a true links course. The sand dunes and indigenous vegetation have been left untouched, creating a distinctly natural feel. Fairways and greens are large to allow for the prevailing wind.
