Corica Park to become official golf course of the Oakland A's
ALAMEDA, California -- Corica Park manager Greenway Golf and The Oakland A's have announced a marketing partnership that will bring together the East Bay's favorite baseball team with it's top public golf course.
The unique program will provide the Oakland A's with a venue to entertain staff, guests, and players - in the off season of course. They will have 45 holes of golf to choose from, including the recently opened Rees Jones designed South Course. The multiple award-winning course will proudly display A's "home course" signage. And that's just the beginning.
With one of the A's biggest and longtime fans (Greenway CEO George Kelley) in charge, an A's themed golf tournament can't be far off on the horizon.

George Kelley's baseball allegiance is no secret |
"I've loved the A's since I was a kid," said Kelley. "Since we opened the South Course we have discussed ways we could work together with the A's, and this marketing partnership was a natural."
Kelley can usually be found wearing a green and gold A's hat or sporting an A's head cover on his driver, but the most obvious display of his dedication is his license plate. It reads GO AAAS.
ABOUT CORICA PARKLocated in the beautiful island City of Alameda, California, Corica Park is the home of 45-holes of public access golf, including one of America's new best public access courses, the all new South Course. The South Course, which opened June 22, 2018, was designed by renowned Architect Rees Jones in a minimalist design more like you would find in Australia, where you can play the ball to the hole by air or ground. It's beautiful to walk, and fun to play.
In addition to the new Corica Park South Course, an entire property renovation and rebranding underway with over $20 million in ongoing improvements. Those improvements include the newly completed 9-hole Par-3 course, and a state-of-the-art practice facility with PGA quality natural grass turf, and dedicated short game area.
