Tournament Overview
The Sacramento Golf Council and the Haggin Oaks
Team are excited to host the Sacramento
Valley Women’s Amateur (SVWA) at the classic
Alister Mackenzie GC @ Haggin Oaks on
Saturday & Sunday, July 13-14, 2024.
This is an NCGA Point Tournament for both the
Senior and Open Division. The SVWA is
designed for the “Top Women Amateur Golfers in the
West” with the following flights. All play
will be at Gross Scores with prizes for each flight.

*For the Senior Women’s Flight, in addition to the Low Gross Winner &
Top Finishers, the Low Net Winner will be awarded too.
The $225 Entry Fee includes green fees both days,
tee prize, range balls and awards. Players
wishing to rent a cart will be able to do so in the pro
shop for a $20 Cart Fee. All play will be in
groups of three to ensure a proper pace of play. $25
practice rounds will be available for
contestants after noon the 7 days prior to the event.
Gift Cards will be awarded to the top finishers.
The competition will be stroke play over 36 holes (18
holes each day). Tee times will begin at
9:00am on July 13th and 7:00am on July 14th.
Pairings will be based on flight and Index. Sunday
tee
times will be repaired based on first round scores.
If a tie occurs for either division, a sudden
victory playoff will commence immediately
following play from the 1st tee.
The Championship will be conducted using the Golf
Genius Software, including communication,
pairings and scoring.
The entry deadline is July 4, 2024. There
will be
no refunds after this date. Withdrawals prior to
the entry deadline will be assessed a $10 cancellation
fee.
