Lindy, 20, a junior at Duke majoring in psychology, began playing golf at age nine. In her junior career she played in four U.S. Junior Girls and placed well in several AJGA events.

In 2008 she won the Florida Girl's State championship and in 2009 she qualified for the U.S. Women's Open, but failed to make the cut. In 2010 she won the Dixie Amateur.

While at Duke she won a tournament in both her freshman and sophomore year. In her freshman year she was a First Team All-American and earned both freshman and player of the year in the ACC Conference.

As a sophomore she advanced to the NCAA championships as an individual and finished tied for eighth.

So far this season Lindy has been medalist at three tournaments including the Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate where she lead the squad to a team victory.
