Xiaolong Zhong finishes as low amateur at U.S. Senior Women’s Open

Xiaolong “Sherry” Zhong, originally from China and now a regular on the Northern California Golf Association circuit, posted rounds of 74-76-71-78 to finish T-17 at 11-over 299 at the 8th U.S. Senior Women’s Open at Barton Hills Country Club in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Zhong, who has already collected seven NCGA victories in 2026, finished as the low amateur, nine shots clear of her nearest amateur challengers.
