College golf is approaching, and here's what the coaches expect
August 23, 2019 | by Golf Coaches Association of America

Take a look at the Bushnell/Golfweek Preseason Coaches Poll to see how coaches think college golf will stack up this year.
At the end of last season, NCAA runner-up Texas seemed the heir apparent for the top spot in college golf for the 2019-20 season, what with a trio of freshmen that includes Cole Hammer and twins Pierceson and Parker Coody.
As it turns out, college coaches think that way, too. The Longhorns were voted into the preseason No. 1 spot in the opening Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll after receiving nine first-place votes.
Arizona State came in second in the poll, followed by Georgia Tech, Oklahoma State, and Vanderbilt. Wake Forest, Oklahoma, Auburn, the defending National Champions Stanford, and Pepperdine all begin the season in the top 10.
