Sacramento Senior: Knoll, Olds take titles

Jim Knoll won the Sacramento City Senior while Bob Olds prevailed in a playoff to win the Super Senior Division

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (July 10, 2013) -- Jim Knoll fired rounds of 71-66 to finish atop the leaderboard at the 2013 Sacramento City Senior Championship by two shots. Knoll topped Mark Miller, who opened play with a 69 in Round 1 but shot 70 in the finale to take second place at Bing Maloney Golf Course. Terry Foreman was third at 69-72--141. Mike Reuther shot 68 to take the first-round lead before shooting 75 in Round 2 to finish tied for fourth place alongisde Dave Baskin and Doug Johnson. Bob Olds prevailed over Rob Thompson in a playoff to win the Super Senior Division. Both players finished the 36-holes of regulation at 146 before Olds prevailed on the second playoff hole.
