ABOUT THE Oklahoma Women's Amateur

Women's state championship in Oklahoma, run by Oklahoma Women's Golf Association. All players will go through qualifying (18 holes) for flighting purposes. Players with a 7.9 handicap index or less may elect to qualify for Championship Division or Presidents Division. Junior Golfers age 17 and under with a 7.9 or less handicap index are only eligible to qualify for the Championship Division. Those players who do not make it through qualifying for the Championship Division will be eliminated from the tournament. There is no consolation in the Championship Division. All others will be flighted according to their qualifying score. *The Presidents Division will play shorter yardages. The State Amateur Champion will be crowned from the Championship Division.
