Stanford has taken a narrow lead over Arizona at the 77th Western Intercollegiate at Pasatiempo Golf Club in Santa Cruz, Calif., with 18 holes remaining in the prestigious tournament.

The Cardinals are 9-over and hold a two-shot lead over the Wildcats, who are 11-over. Arizona held a six-shot lead over Stanford after a first-round 2-under 348, but some struggles arose in the second round, and the Wildcats shot 13-over to fall to 11-over total, while Stanford shot a 3-over 353 to sit at 9-under and two shots ahead of Arizona.

Washington is lurking as well. At 12-over, Washington is sitting in solo third place, only three shots back of Stanford and one shot back of Arizona in second place.

San Diego State is also still in the hunt at 13-over, in solo fourth place, while Oregon and BYU ate T5 at 15-over. Texas is in solo seventh place at 16-over, and California is in solo eighth place at 20-over.

In the individual competition, Filip Jakubcik of Arizona leads by one shot at 4-under over Mahanth Chirravuri of Pepperdine, who is in solo second place at 3-under.

Jakubcik has shot rounds of 68-68, and his second round of 2-under 68 consisted of five birdies, one bogey, and a double bogey on hole No. 13. After that double bogey, he bounced back strong, birding holes No. 14 and 15 to get back on track and back to the top of the leaderboard.

Jakubcik is currently ranked No. 171 in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com World Rankings.

Karl Vilips of Stanford, Garrett Engle of Chattanooga, Nathan Petronzio of Texas, and Xuan Luo of San Jose State are all T3 at 2-under, and 16 golfers are within four shots of the lead, making for a thrilling finish.

Michael Thorbjornsen of Stanford, the No. 2 ranked golfer in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com World Rankings, is T10 at even par.

You can catch the final round on Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. ET to 10:00 p.m. ET on Golf Channel.
