The Florida State women's golf team picked up where they left off in the fall, winning their first tournament of the season by ten shots. The Seminoles won the Collegiate Invitational at Guadalajara Country Club in Guadalajara, Mexico. The University of Virginia hosts the invitational, and the Mexican Golf Federation runs it.

Florida State shot 14-over with rounds of 289-295-294 to secure the victory. They were led by Lottie Woad, who finished T2 at 2-under, and Mirabel Ting, who finished in solo seventh place at 4-over. This was Ting's collegiate debut.

Also, for the Seminoles, Alice Hodge finished T16 at 9-over, Kaylah Williams finished T19 at 10-over, and Charlotte Heath finished T26 at 12-over.

Tennessee finished in solo second place at 24-over, SMU and Georgia finished T3 at 29-over, and Colorado State rounded out the top five, finishing in solo fifth place at 35-over

In the individual competition, Andrea Bergsdottir of Colorado State won her first individual title, recording rounds of 71-70-71 to finish 4-under. She defeated Woad of Florida State, Caterina Don of Georgia, and Mackenzie Lee of SMU by two shots, who all finished T2 at 2-under.

Bergsdottir made a hole-in-one on the par-3 No. 15 and ended up winning by two shots. She entered the final round, tied with Don in a tie for first place, and a front nine 39 with three bogeys and no birdies saw her make the turn three shots down. However, Bergsdottir got hot on the final nine, carding an impressive 32 with four birdies and no bogeys, and turned a three-shot deficit into a two-shot win.

Amanda Sambach of Virginia finished in solo fifth place at 1-over, Vanessa Gilly of Tennessee finished in solo sixth place at 3-over, and Ting finished in solo seventh place at 4-over.
