Full field: Augusta National Women's Amateur confirmed entries

The Augusta National Women’s Amateur just got a lot more real. Invitations – beautiful Augusta green invitations with gold wax seals – have been floating around for days, documented excitedly by the women who have received them. On Jan. 22, Augusta National announced that 66 players in the 72-woman field had been confirmed for the inaugural event. The remaining six players were revealed Jan. 28.

The 54-hole event takes place April 3-6, with the first 36 holes at Champions Retreat Golf Club and the final round being played at Augusta National the Saturday before Masters week.

The last six players into the field, as revealed Jan. 28, include:

Zoe Campos, Valencia, Calif.
Sophie Hausmann, Nottuln, Germany
Yu-Sang Hou, Taipai, Taiwan
Clarisse Louis, Brussels, Belgium
Alexa Melton, Covina, Calif.
Lei Ye, Shanghai, China

Three of the confirmed players gained entry as a result of tournament victories over the past year. Those players include:

Leonie Harm, Gerlingen, Germany (Ladies’ British Open Amateur Championship)
Atthaya Thitikul, Ratchaburi, Thailand (Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific)
Emma Spitz, Goellersdorf, Austria (Girls’ British Open Amateur Championship)

The majority of the field were selected according to position in the final 2018 World Amateur Golf Ranking. The top 30 players from the United States not otherwise qualified were selected, followed by the 30 highest ranked international players not otherwise qualified. Those players are listed below:

ABOUT THE Augusta National Women's Amateur (ANWA)

54-hole stroke-play tournament that will include a 72 player international field. The field will include winners of other recognized tournaments while also utilizing the Women's World Amateur Golf Rankings.

The first two rounds will be played at Champions Retreat Golf Club before the field is cut to the low 30 and ties for the final round at Augusta National.

The tournament will be played the week before the Masters, concluding on Saturday.
