Not surprisingly, when the season’s first coaches poll came out on Friday, the defending national champions were the unanimous No. 1. Oklahoma State earned all 19 first-place votes. It capped a strong week for Cowboy nation, which started Sunday
when junior Viktor Hovland won the U.S. Amateur with head coach Alan Bratton on the bag.
