SAN ANTONIO, TX (February 12, 2017) -- After a weekend of bogey-free golf you probably expect to win the tournament right? Well Terrence Miskell and Trey Hallmark did win Greater San Antonio Four-Ball except they needed to go to a playoff to do so.
After finishing the 36-holes of regulation 11 under, Miskell and Hallmark still had work to do in a playoff that saw them outlast the pairings of Chris Brown and Dillon Rangnow; Clay Malson and Preston Hardin.
Miskell and Hallmark, the 2016 Texas Four-Ball champions, began their weekend at The Republic Golf Club with a 7-under 65 before closing with a 4-under 68 that believe it or not required them to birdie the final hole just to reach the playoff.
Over the years Miskell and Hallmark have competed in better than a half dozen four-ball events.
In the Senior Division Chuck Ellenwood and John Stark won the title with an 11 under tally that came after rounds of 66-67. The Women's Division went to one-stroke winners Patti Livingston and Tammy Trichell.
