Ben Hodge and Richard Neame win Bermuda Four-Ball

SOUTHAMPTON, Bermuda (February 5, 2017) -- With rounds of 72-65 Ben Hodge and Richard Neame have won the Bermuda Four-Ball hosted by Port Royal Golf Course.
Beginning the day two-strokes off the pace the duo put together a final day rally to remember with a bogey-free 6-under scorecard. Their first three birdies came in succession from Nos. 3-5 and then after making the turn Hodge and Neame rolled in additional birdies on the 11th, 13th and 18th holes. The final birdie pushed them to 5-under for the weekend and gave them a final margin of three-strokes.
First round leaders Jarryd Dillas and Will Haddrell ended up second at 2-under following their second straight 1-under 70. In third place at even-par it was Mark and Chris Phillips.
The Senior Division title went to Craig Christensen and Bill Pitt while Tracy Nash and Katyna Rabain won the Ladies Division.

The Championship is a four-ball stroke play event
(teams of two) played
at 85% of course handicap. Teams can choose to
compete in one of three
divisions:
i) Men’s Championship
ii) Men’s Senior Championship – (Eligibility: Both
players must be 55 on
or before the first day of the tournament)
iii) Ladies Championship (36 holes)
Entries
are open to all
members in good standing of the Bermuda Golf
Association and any overseas visitors to
Bermuda, with an up-to-date handicap index.
