Designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, Sand Hills Golf Club opened in 1995 to immediate international acclaim, and has since become a top-10 course in the U.S. and top-15 in the world--the first course built since World War II to achieve such a distinction. It is also one of the most remote of the world's great courses, sitting deep within the Sand Hills region of Nebraska, far removed from any significant population center.
