Sutton claims one-shot Idaho Senior Amateur win
JEROME, Idaho (Sept 20, 2014) — Jay Sutton captured the Idaho Senior Amateur Championship on Saturday despite shooting a final-round 75, three-over par. Sutton held a share of the second-round lead with Carmen Bradley at 141 but Bradley shot one stroke higher in the final round.
Also finishing in a tie for second place with Bradley was first-round leader Dan Pickens, who went 68-74-75 over the course of 54 holes.
Bob Lutz won the Super-Senior division by four shots, shooting 76-74-74. He finished in a tie for seventh overall.

men, super senior men, and senior women. Entries
are open to amateur golfers who must have an up-
to-date USGA Handicap Index®. A Handicap Index
must either be issued from an IGA District I, II, or
III member “golf club” (as defined in the “USGA
Handicap System Manual”) which is licensed to use
the USGA Handicap SystemTM . Or, for bona fide
residents of the State of Idaho, Panhandle District
have an up-to-date USGA Handicap Index® issued
from a WSGA licensed member “golf club.”
