Fernandez, Jr. top seed at Long Beach Match Play
LONG BEACH, Calif. (June 2, 2013) — Pete Fernandez, Jr. will be the top seeded golfer when match play kicks off June 8-9 at Recreation Park Golf Club for the Long Beach Match Play Championship.
Fernandez fired rounds of 69 and 68 to win the 36-hole qualifying by one stroke over first-round leader Yuya Okada, who shot 72 on Sunday.
