Cy Whitney stays hot with Laughlin Am Senior win

Whitney added another win to his impressive 2013 run by lapping the field in Southern Nevada
BULLHEAD CITY, Nev. (May 19, 2013) -- Cy Whitney remained one of the nation's hottest amateurs with a win at the 2013 Laughlin Amateur at Laughlin Ranch.
Whitney, who has wins at the Gallery Invitational Senior, SNGA Senior Summerlin and Sun Country Senior Spring Stroke Play on his 2013 resume already, won again. He lapped the field in the Senior Division by 15 shots thanks to consecutive rounds of 67-67-134.
Matt Snyder and Jon Scolari were the only other players in the red, finishing tied at the top of the leaderboard in the overall division at 3-under. Snyder beat Scolari in a playoff for the title.

36-hole stroke play event. Scratch, Net, Senior, Senior Net, Silver, and Silver Net divisions. Non-SNGA members are welcome.
