Justin Thomas steals lead at Sunnehanna

JOHNSTOWN, Penn. (June 15, 2012) -- Alabama star Justin Thomas took a one-shot lead over Crimson Tide teammate Bobby Wyatt in the third round of the 2012 Sunnehanna Amateur.
The NCAA standout fired a 1-under 70 Friday in the second round, jumping ahead of Wyatt, who shared the lead with Thomas after Round 1.
Blake Morris (Waterbury, Conn.) and Sebastian Vazquez (Mexico City) are both two shots back in a third-place tie.
Amateurgolf.com regular and UCLA star Brandon Hagy is in contention, sitting at 1-under after three rounds.
Pennsylvania amateur star Nathan Smith is also 1-under.

The Sunnehanna Amateur was inaugurated in

amateurs
