Patrick Beyhan poured in a 25-foot for par on the 18th hole to capture the Sun Country Match Play title
BERNALILLO, N.M. (June 10, 2012) -- Patrick Beyhan canned a 25-foot putt for par to win 1-up over Sam Saunders and hoist the New Mexico Match play Trophy.
Beyhan defeated Jacob Loya, 3 and 1, in the first round, Will Mahan 4 and 3 in the quarter-finals, and Greg Condon, 1-up, in the Semi-finals.
In the Senior division Richard Alarid defeated Kenneth Walters in the finals, 2-up, to claim the title. Alarid defeated Steve Fox in the first round, 4 and 3, Doug Good in the quarter-finals, 1-up, and Michael Quinlan, 2 and 1 in the semi-finals
About the Sun Country Match Play
Must be a SCAGA member. Match play 9 hole pod system. Men's, senior (50+), and super senior (60+) championships, plus a women's championship, with gross and net flights.
