SF City Senior: Finals are set

Steven Hakes and Jim Williams, both amateurgolf.com members will play for the senior title. Bruce Wold to battle David Carrol for the super senior crown

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (Mar. 10, 2012) -- In the semifinal matches of the San Francisco City Senior division, Steven Hakes of San Diego, the 12th seed, defeated Scott Anderson of Walnut Creek, 8th seed, in a 20 hole battle. Jim Williams of Orinda, 10th seed, topped John Seed of Gualala, the 11th seed, 3 & 2. Hakes and Williams tee off at 11:40 a.m. Sunday morning for the 18 hole final. In the super-senior division, Bruce Wold defeated Bob Olds 3 & 2 and David Carroll defeated Robert Callan 5 & 4. Wold and Carroll tee off at 11:50 a.m. Sunday for the 18 hole final match.
