Maletis and Lutz lead at Senior Masters
INDIAN WELLS, Ca. (April 13, 2011) -- After the second of four rounds of the 34th playing of the Senior Masters, Chris Maletis holds a three stroke lead at 141 (71-70). There is a four-way tie at second place with Ted Smith (71-73), Douglas Pool (70-74), Greg Mokler (71-73) and Murphy Mitchell (71-73). First round leader Gary Kirwan shot a 79 and has dropped to a tie for 7th place.
In the super senior division, Bob Lutz remains in the lead by two strokes at 144 (70-74). There is a log jam for second place at 146 with Karl Stewart (74-72), Skip Snow (76-70), and Dick Nordlund (72-74).
Play continues on Thursday at 7:30 a.m. PDT and the final round is Friday.
