Coburn Captures Costa Mesa City Amateur

Jeff Coburn finishes 4 shots clear of the field to capture the Costa Mesa City Amatuer.

COSTA MESA, Calif. (Aug. 8, 2010) -- Jeff Coburn finished four shots clear of the field to win the Costa Mesa City Amateur on Sunday. Coburn, a Rancho Santa Margarita resident and UCI graduate shot a two-day total of 132 on the Mesa Linda and Los Lagos courses at Costa Mesa Country Club.

Newport Beach resident Will Tipton finished second with a score of 136 and Matt Parkevich placed third with a score of 139.

Stewart Hagestad was solo fourth with a two- day total of 141.

Four players were tied for fifth at 144.
