Pauma Valley Invitational: Vanderbilt leads with 18 holes remaining

Vanderbilt leads by three shots heading into the final round at the 2024 Pauma Valley Invitational at Pauma Valley Country Club in Pauma Valley, Calif.
The Commodores are 15-under through the first two rounds and lead Oklahoma State by three shots, who are in solo second place at 12-under.
Vanderbilt shot team rounds of 274-279, with a first round of 10-under and a second round of 5-under.
UCLA, Oklahoma, and San Diego are T3 at 6-under, BYU is in solo sixth place at even par, and SMU and South Florida are T7 at 3-over.
Jonas Baumgartner of Oklahoma State leads the field by two shots at 8-under in the individual competition.
Gordon Sargent of Vanderbilt, the No. 1 ranked amateur in the world according to the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com World Rankings, is in solo second place at 6-under. Craig Ronne of San Diego is in solo third place at 5-under.
Connor Jones of Colorado State and Pablo Ereno of UCLA are T4 at 4-under.
Six golfers are T6 at 3-under and five shots back of Baumgartner, including Jackson Van Paris of Vanderbilt, who is playing in his first event since finishing T10 at the Puerto Rico Open in his PGA Tour debut.
