Yorba Linda City: Kethan Reddy runs away from the field

Reddy shot a final round 3-under 69 to pull away from the field in the second round and win the championship by three shots
Kethan Reddy of San Diego, Calif., finished 4-under to win the 2024 Yorba Linda City Championship at Black Gold Golf Club in Yorba Linda, Calif.
Reddy shot rounds of 1-under 71 in the first round and 3-under 69 in the final round to finish 4-under. He was the only golfer to shoot both rounds under par in the championship.
Reddy recorded five birdies and two bogeys in his final round, birding holes No. 1, 2, and 6 to open the round and put some distance between him and the field.
Bradley Smolinski of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., finished in solo second place at 1-under. Smolinski opened up the tournament with a first-round 4-over 76, but a final-round 5-under 67 put him under par for the championship. Smolinski won the 2024 Rancho Margarita Amateur.

Brannon Fahrny of Anaheim, Calif., the 2022 Yorba Linda City Championship, finished in solo third place at even par. Aidan Valdez of San Clemente, Calif., finished in solo fourth place at 1-over. Tegan Andrews of Agoura Hills, Calif., finished in solo fifth place at 2-over.
In the Women's Championship Flight, Amber Davalos of Tustin, Calif., finished 8-over to win by four shots. Rori Fanning of Valencia, Calif., finished in solo second place at 12-over. In the Senior Championship Flight, Loren Lopeman of Newport Beach, Calif., finished 10-over and won by two shots over David Ujihara of Brea, Calif., and David Smith of West Covina, Calif., who finished T2 at 12-over.
Andrew Llarenas of Los Angeles, Calif., finished 1-under to win the Men's First Flight by eight shots, and Cory Murdock of Anaheim, Calif., won the Men's Second Flight by eight shots at 11-over.
Black Gold Golf Club is an Arthur Hills championship course that serves as the focal point for the Vista Del Verde community. According to Arthur Hills, "The collection of holes at Black Gold offers one of the most diverse experiences one will find on any golf course.
