HOW TO WATCH: Darius Rucker Intercollegiate is now playing
The 12th annual Darius Rucker Intercollegiate is back and will take place from March 4 to March 6 at Long Cove Club in Hilton Head Island, S.C. South Carolina University will play host to some of the top teams and players in the country.
HISTORY
The Darius Rucker Intercollegiate Presented by Principal Financial and PXG returns after making its television debut on GOLF Channel in 2022, when it became the first all-women’s regular season collegiate golf tournament to be presented live on the network.
The annual event, hosted by multi-platinum country artist and PXG ambassador Darius Rucker, is held at Long Cove Club in Hilton Head, S.C., and features a 54-hole stroke play competition for individual and team honors. Past individual champions of the tournament include Maria Fassi (2018, University of Arkansas), Emilia Migliaccio (2020, Wake Forest University), and Cheyenne Knight (2016, 2017, University of Alabama).
LAST YEAR
LSU won last year's tournament after trailing by four strokes in the final round of the event. The Tigers will look to defend their title against a field that includes highly ranked teams like host South Carolina, Wake Forest, Texas, and Oregon.
