SOS Founders Cup: Mike Combs takes the lead heading into the Final Round

Combs is the only golfer in the Senior Division to shoot both rounds under par so far.
Mike Combs of Roswell, Ga., shot a second round 2-under 70 to take the 36-hole lead at the eighth annual Society of Seniors Founders Cup at the Silverado Country Club (North Course) in Napa, Calif.
Combs shot a first-round 1-under 71 to sit T3 and followed it up with an even better 2-under 70 in the second round to hold a two-shot lead over Mark Sanchez of Kentfield, Calif. Combs and Sanchez are the only two golfers in the Division that are under par.
Combs was 1-over on the front nine with two birdies and three bogeys but finished strong coming home on the back nine, recording three birdies on Holes No. 11, 15, and 18 and no bogeys.
Jack Hall of Savannah, Ga., is in solo third place and is even par through the first two rounds. Hall has shot rounds of 73-71.
Stephen Maddalena of Jackson, Mich., Grady Brame of Hammond, La., and Jon Lindstrom of Denver, Colo., sit T4 at 1-over.
First-round leader Chris Storck is T8 at 3-over after a second-round 6-over 78.
In the Super Senior Division, Jim McNelis of Gig Harbor, Wash., leads by four shots at 4-over. McNelis has shot rounds of 71-77, and his first round 1-under 71 is the only round under par by any golfer in the Super Senior Division to this point.
Carl Horsch of Eden Prarie, Minn., is in solo second place at 8-over.
In the Legends Division, Rick Doebler of Fullerton, Calif., is in first place at 4-over, and in the Grand Master Division, Ron Johnson of Arroyo Grande, Calif., is in first place at 2-over.
Silverado Country Club (North Course) hosts the Fortinet Championship on the PGA Tour. In October 2014, part of the PGA Tour's 2015 season, the Championship was hosted in Napa for the first time and has been there every year since.
Recent winners of the Fortinet Championship are California natives Sahith Theegala and Max Homa.
