The Huskies won by 26 shots and occupied the top two spots on the leaderboard.

The University of Washington players Taehoon Song and Petr Hruby secured the championship and runner-up positions, ultimately propelling their team to claim the title with an impressive 26-shot lead in Bremerton, WA.

Song shot 15-under with rounds of 63-73-65 to secure victory, besting his teammate Hruby's score of 12-under with rounds of 69-69-66. Notably, Song's career-low opening round of 9-under 63 played a pivotal role in clinching his maiden tournament win.

Song's stellar opening round of 9-under 63 was followed by a challenging second round, where he encountered three bogeys and a double-bogey on the par-4 No. 7.

Despite this setback, he entered the final round with a two-shot advantage over Hruby. In the closing round, Song maintained his composure, remaining free of bogeys and carding an impressive 7-under 65. Hruby, who put forth his best efforts with a 6-under 66, came close but ultimately fell three strokes short of catching up to Song.

The Washington team exhibited their dominance in par-3 and par-4 scoring statistics with commanding leads of eight and nine strokes, respectively. Washington achieved a remarkable scoring average of 2-over on par-3s, leaving their closest competitor, Oregon State, in second place at 10-over. In the par-4 scoring category, Washington led with an impressive 14-under par, while California followed in second place with 5-under par.

In the team competition, leading the tournament virtually wire-to-wire, Washington’s 824 54-hole team score was good for the sixth-lowest in program history. UW's 40-under-par performance was its best since the 2019 Ka'anapali Collegiate, in which they came in 42 shots below par.

Oklahoma finished second at 14-under with team rounds of 290-282-278.
