Folds of Honor Collegiate: Michigan State shoots up the leaderboard on Day Two

After shooting a team score of 291 in round one at the Folds of Honor Collegiate at American Dunes Golf Club at Grand Haven, Mich., Michigan State came out firing in round two, improving its score by 12 shots with a 279 and jumping from T10 to the lead heading into the final round.
The Spartan's top four golfers all improved their round scores by at least three shots from round one to round two.
August Meekhof is leading the way for the Spartans, shooting rounds of 72-69 and sitting at T4.
Also for the Spartans, Ashton McCulloch is T7, Drew Hackett is T9, Bradley Smithson is T25 and Lorenzo Pinili is T36.
In the team competition, Arizona and South Carolina are tied for second and are three shots behind the Spartans.
Arkansas sits in solo fourth place, and Notre Dame sits in solo fifth place.
In the Individual competition, round one leader Nick Mathews of NC State still leads after a second round 1-under 71 puts him at 5-under. He opened the tournament with a 4-under 67.
Mathews leads by three shots.
Zach Adams of South Carolina and Cecil Belisle of Kansas are tied for second place at 2-under.
