Vanderbilt junior holds off Auburn's Megan Schofill to claim a one-shot victory at Orange County National Golf Center & Lodge
After carding rounds of 69 and 65, Schofill took a one-shot lead over Ding into the final round but two bogeys on her inward nine proved costly as she signed for a 73.
The victory was the third of Ding’s amateur career having won the 2018 Pondok Indah International Junior Championship and 2019 Hong Kong Ladies Amateur Championship.
