The Georgia-based team of Jacob and Mark Phillips shot a 9-under 63 at the Sheep Ranch to take a three-shot lead into the final round of the Two Man Links Championship at Bandon Dunes.
The Father-Son duo shot 68 and 69 on their own balls at the Sheep Ranch, going 6 under on the inward nine to reach 14 under for the tournament and pull ahead of the defending champs and fellow Georgians Tim Lovell and Scott Pitts. A pair of Father-Son teams, Aaron & Bob Smith (Pella, Iowa) and Donald & Zachary Miller (Alpharetta, Ga.), sit four shots back at 10 under.
The Senior division turned into a two-team race, with leaders Brad Kropp (Edmond, Okla.) and Norman Lewis (Madison, N.J.) shooting a 7-under 65 to get to 7 under par the tournament. Their playing partners Mark Macejko and Duff Meyer (Pinehurst, N.C.) matched the 65 to stay two shots back.

Pete and Lawson Wlodkowski share the net lead with the Millers, with both teams at 18 under par net through three rounds. Lawson, a junior at the University of Arizona, shot his career low round, a 75, on his own ball and beat his father for the first time ever.
The defending Net champions Joseph and Joseph M. Kowalski are two shots back at 16 under.
The third round saw the best scoring of the tournament so far, as the weather continued to be sunny and pleasant, as it was for Old Macdonald and Bandon Trails in rounds 1 and 2.
The final round will be played at Bandon Dunes, with a split-tee start, after which winners will be crowned in the Championship, Net, Senior, and Father-Son (Gross and Net).
ROUND 2 REPORT
\
Donald and Zachary Miller of Alpharetta, Ga. have taken a one-shot lead at the halfway point of the Two Man Links Championship at Bandon Dunes, shooting a 4-under 67 on another sunny day at Bandon Trails.
The Millers made 6 birdies on the day to push their total to 7 under par, one shot ahead of another Georgia-based team, William Peeples and Lee Rogers. In fact, the top four teams all hail from the Peach State, including the defending champions Tim Lovell and Scott Pitts, who sit two shots behind at 5 under, along with Jacob and Mark Phillips.
The Millers top the Father-Son leaderboard by two shots over team Phillips, with first-round leaders Aaron and Bob Smith (Pella, Iowa) three back.
They also top the Net leaderboard at 12 under par, with three teams two shots back: defending Net champions, Joseph Kowalski and Joseph M Kowalski of Arizona; AmateurGolf.com founder Pete Wlodkowski and his son Lawson; and Brian Conlin and Fr. Richard Conlin (Vancouver, Canada).
Brad Kropp (Edmond, Okla.) and Norman Lewis (Madison, N.J.) shot a second-straight even-par 71 to take the Senior division lead by two shots over Mark Macejko and Duff Meyer (Pinehurst, N.C.).
As was the case during the first round at Old Macdonald, the weather was beautiful at Bandon Trails, with mostly sunny skies and a little more wind than in round one.
Round three moves to the Sheep Ranch on Sunday, with the final round at Bandon Dunes, the first-ever course at the resort that bears its name.
