LAKE CHARLES, LA (April 18, 2017 ) - With a stellar 10-under 61 at Contraband Bayou Golf Club the duo of Derek Busby and Bryan Vahlberg Vahlberg have qualified for the U.S. Amateur Four-Ball.

During their qualifying round, Busby and Vahlberg played bogey-free golf while rolling in 10 birdies. The first birdie of the day came on the 3rd with the final falling on No. 17.

There best stretch of golf during the round came from Nos. 7-11 when they birdied the five holes in succession.

The duo will also be joined in the field by two other teams from the site, Jake Kuwitzky and Scott Roden who fired a 7-under 64; Shane Humphries and David Sinclair after the survived a three-way playoff following a round of 6-under 65.

The third U.S. Amateur Four-Ball will be contested next month at Pinehurst Resort from May 27-31..
