AGC caught up with PING Senior Engineer and defending Arizona Amateur champion Cory Bacon this week in Orlando
ORLANDO, FL (January 28, 2017) -- At the 2017 PGA Merchandise Show we met a lot of people with great jobs, however there are few that have more fun with their job than PING engineer Cory Bacon.
A senior design engineer, Bacon is the reigning Arizona Amateur champion and he has also played in the U.S. Amateur Four-Ball which means he gets to showcase the clubs he helped design first hand.
"It's a dream job for sure," Bacon said on demo day. "If I wasn't on the PGA Tour it was the next best thing."
Bacon has had his finger prints all over a number of PING designs including the iBlade, the iU1 irons and the G Hybird.
