Edward Fryatt continued his impressive season winning yet another SNGA event, plus more

(December 19, 2016) -- Daniel Pena overcame some late heroics from Daniel Connolly by providing some of his own to win the AmateurGolf.com Tour Championship presented by Callaway. Edward Fryatt's impressive season rolled along on Sunday when he won his third SNGA title of the season. This time Fryatt won the SNGA Championship. Out at the Aloha State Andrew Chin earned low amateur honors at the weather-shortened Hawaii State Open. In South Carolina Kevin Burris and Jodee Tindal won titles at the Ford Picard Christmas Classic run by the SCJGA. Over the weekend the Golf Coaches Association of America National Convention was held in Las Vegas and once more the substitution debate was sparked. Speaking of college golf, the season restart is just over a month away so here is a look at some of the notable 2017 dates.
