ALEXANDRIA, VA (October 19, 2006) -- Shelley Savage started hot on day one and gradualy cooled as the tournament went on and the pressure mounted. Fortunately her final round 80 was good enough to hold off the charging Mary Hill and out last Melissa Sage, the 36 hole co-leader.

Women's Eastern Senior Amateur
The Championship is open to female amateur golfers
who will have reached their 50th birthday, have a
certified
handicap index of 17.5 or less, and belong to a
Women’s Eastern Golf Association (WEGA) Member
Club. Clubs in the following states are eligible to join
the Association: Connecticut, Delaware, Florida,
Georgia,
Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire,
New Jersey, New York, North Carolina,
Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina,
Vermont, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
