Thomas Pieters switched to the Callaway Great Big Bertha driver, then won back-to-back European Tour titles
ABOUT THOMAS PIETERS
Hailing from Geel, Belgium, Team Callaway
player Thomas Pieters graduated from the
University of Illinois in 2013, and promptly
turned professional following the NCAA
Championships. He became a member of Team
Callaway in December of 2013.
After
gaining status on the
European Tour, Pieters found success with a
string of steady finishes including a T2 at the
Spanish Open. He opened the 2015 campaign
with a solid T4 at the HSBC Abu Dhabi
Championship and really found form in late
Summer with back-to-back victories at the D&D
REAL Czech Masters and KLM Open.
He had just switched to the Great Big
Bertha driver. Did it make the difference? Let's
just say that with all that talent behind the
wheel of a technological marvel, we're not
surprised. Find out more about Great Big Bertha here.
