Australian Open: Amateur Todd Sinnott in contention
Todd Sinnott
ROSEBURY, Australia (Nov. 28, 2014) — Late in the day Friday, amateur golfer Todd Sinnott has found a place in the limelight, moving to 4-under on the day at Australian Golf Club and into a tie for the lead with Greg Chalmers and Adam Crawford (story to follow).
Sinnott, of Australia, hasn't posted any major wins in 2014, but he has three huge runner-up finishes: at the Master of the Amateurs, The Riversdale Cup, and the Mandurah. That places him in the 50th position in the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com World Rankings.
