Three-under par 68 at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston gave both John Hunter and Scott Loving a share of a one-shot lead

HOUSTON, Texas (Oct. 3, 2014) — One round in at the 72-hole Greater Houston Amateur Championship and two players — John Hunter and Scott Loving — share a slim one-shot lead after three-under par rounds of 68. The leaderboard is generally stacked, with 22 players within five shots of the lead with 54 holes to play. Stephen Marland and Joseph Nacewski are tied for third at 69 while four other players are tied for fifth at 70.
