Swiss International Amateur: Soares wins in playoff
GENEVA, Switzerland (June 29, 2014) -- Rodrigo Lacerda Soares topped Italy's Enrico Di Nitto in a four-hole playoff to win the 2014 Swiss International Amateur at the Golf Club of Geneva.
Soares and Di Nitto both finished the 54 holes of regulation play tied at 6-under, 210. Di Nitto carded a final-round 71 to catch Soares at the top of the leaderboard.
In the end, though, Soares was able to prevail, winning over Di Nitto on the fourth extra hole.
Joel Girrbach was alone in third place after rounds of 70-72-71.
