A field of 84 golfers takes aim at the 2014 Southern California Mid-Am, which kicked off Monday

VALENCIA, Calif. (April 14, 2014) -- A field of 84 golfers takes aim at the 2014 Southern California Mid-Am, which kicked off Monday at Valencia Country Club. Robert Funk is the defending champion following his battle with Jeff Wilson at Bermuda Dunes in Palm Desert. Funk's win, of course, came a year after Tim Hogarth won his record fifth SCGA Mid-Amateur title. The field plays 36 holes on the first day of action with the low 40 players and ties playing the final round on Tuesday. AmateurGolf.com will have full coverage of the event.
