HYANNISPORT, Mass. (April 13, 2014) -- Brian Secia and Herbie Aikens continued their strong play to win the 2013 Cape Cod Seagulls Four-Ball at historic Hyannisport Golf Club.

Secia and Aikens, the No. 8 seed, defeated No. 2 Trevor Wellen and Chad Crocker in Sunday's finale, 2-up, following a 5-and-3 win over Dan Hanson and Bill VanStratum.

Wellen and Crocker beat Ray Richard and Jon Fasick in Sunday's semifinal to advance to the afternoon championship.

The Seagulls Four-Ball is the first competitive amateur tournament held each spring in New England. The field, which often battles windy and frigid conditions, draws many of the region's best.
