Celia Kuenster, a senior in high school, wins the 2013 Minnesota Women's State Amateur

DELLWOOD, Minn. (August 14, 2013) — Celia Kuenster shot 76-71-78 to win the Minnesota Women's State Amateur by a single stroke. Kuenster, a senior in high school, led by three shots heading into Wednesday's final round, but managed to squeeze by, taking home victory after a final-round 78 was good enough. University of Minnesota golfer Anna Laorr finished in solo second place, shooting 77-76-73.
About the Minnesota Women's Amateur

Open to all female amateur golfers who are MGA Associate (GHIN) Members and who have a Handicap Index® of 12.0 or less. 54-holes, stroke play with a cut to the low 60 and ties after 36 holes. The maximum starting field is 120 players.
