The golf level at Drive495 is the perfect atmosphere to improve your swing
Golfers in New York City face a plethora of problems improving their games.

Much of the year, the thought of getting outside sends a chill down any golfer's spine thanks to the long northeast winter and wet spring.

And, even when weather cooperates, the selection of game-improvement facilities isn't exactly a long list.

Fortunately for golfers in the 'Capital of the World', the list that lacks in quantity is more than made up for in quality when considering Drive495's impact.

Drive495 is an all-encompassing membership club geared towards avid golfers in New York City that want to improve their fitness, health and conditioning and work hard on their golf games.

The concept behind Drive495's success is simple: A stronger and more balanced body, better endurance, proper golf instruction and technological innovation is used to transform each member's golf game.

Founded by brothers Joe and Don Saladino, Drive495 is came about when their ideas and passions combined. Don had always dreamed of opening a fitness club in the city and Joe’s passion (and talent; he’s an accomplished amateur player) for the game of golf seemed to fit perfectly given the increased interest in fitness by golfers everywhere.

“The plan really became a reality once Don caught the bug and became interested in golf,” Joe said. “We met with guys at the Titleist Performance Institute and loved what they were doing. The thing that was tough was that their facility was a destination and it was hard to follow your performance. We sought to create a facility where you could always have that instruction and guidance and it turned into a club to include the golf and fitness components.”

Within the impressive confines of Drive495's 15,000-square foot retreat in the Soho section of the city, members are provided every resources to build a better golf game. The process begins with in-depth 3D swing analysis and fitness assessment, which highlights areas of need in your game and conditioning.

A complete training staff helps members focus on golf and fitness, weight loss, strength training and kettlebell training. On-site nutritionists use your comprehensive body analysis to design a program to help you get the most out of your workouts to help experience greater strength, higher energy and an improved golf game.

The facility's indoor golf amenities are the most complete in the entire city. Features of the golf program at Drive495 include indoor simulators, PGA professional instruction, video analysis, club fitting and much more.

Not to be lost in the mix are the amazing amenities at Drive495, which include a lounge and bar, wireless internet access, a screening area, locker rooms, steam showers and on-site laundry service.

“We know that golf and improving at it takes a lot of time,” Joe said. “For us, we try to structure each member’s goals around their life. We strive to make sure that each component --- nutrition, fitness and golf --- all improve. With even small improvements in each area, the whole picture will improve and that’s our goal.”
