Till, Craig Take Titles at Old Corkscrew Senior
ESTERO, FL (Jan.10) -- Fort Wayne, Ind. resident Sam Till was able to overcome an 8-over par 80 in the second round to win the the Old Corkscrew Senior Invitational at the Old Corkscrew Golf Club in Estero, Fl. with a three-day total 70-80-73--223.
Number 1 ranked Senior Player Bill Zylstra took solo second with scores of 75-76-75-226. Tom Studer was alone in third at 74-77-76--227.
In the Super Senior division Ed Craig ran away with the title with a three-day total of 74-78-77-229. Bill Spadafora was the next closest competitor at 78-83-777--238. Nick Kirkland was solo third at 78-79--85.

Opening "major" event of the Senior
season which earns players points in the
Golfweek and AmateurGolf.com senior
rankings.
The event is a 54 hole individual stroke play
tournament for amateurs fifty-five years and
over. The tournament includes a
Senior Division (age 55- 64); Super-Senior
Division (65 and over);
and a Legends Division (70 and over), the
Legends
Division plays from the same yardage and
tees as the Super-Senior Division.
Participants
must reach the minimum age requirement in
each division bracket by the first tournament
round.
