amateurgolf.com Two Man Links: 36-hole results
BANDON, Oregon (April 7, 2008) -- Bandon Trails, the newest of the three Bandon Dunes Golf Resort layouts, was the site of today's second round in the 7th Annual Two Man Links Championship.

At the 72-hole tournament's halfway point, there are amazingly tight races in all divisions. The scores below tell the story - three divisions with no more than a stroke separating first and second place. Tournament newcomer's Doug Fraser (owner of May's Landing Golf Club in New Jersey and a frequent competitor in Society of Seniors events) and his partner Larry Harrison fired a rock solid 67 today to take a one stroke lead over Doug Pottter and John Beutler of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho at 4-under 138.

Locals Ken Brooke and Tim Tucker lead the Championship Division by 1, while the Southern California father-son team of George and Michael Stevens is tied with Northern Californians Conrad Figueroa and Stuart Kari. Figueroa celebrated his birthday on Sunday.

Since first round pairings were pre-determined, Tuesday's re-shuffle by score will give the co-leaders, or 1-2 position teams their first look at each other, which should make for a fun and competitive third round.

Second round results, from Bandon Trails follow.

-- Championship Division: 6765 yards, par 71
-- Net and Senior Divisions: 6260 yards, par 71

Note: Tuesday tee times are listed in the column on the left.
