Palmer Cup: Birdie 4 ends three-team playoff
HORSHAM, Pa. (April 21, 2007)-- A three-way playoff between Roc Irey and John Robinson, Allan Small and Jamie Slonis, and Daniel Burton Kenneth Phillips came to an end when Robinson rolled home a birdie putt on the 557-yard par-5.
The tournament, held at Commonwealth National Golf Club, is dedicated to Arnold Palmer's amateur career and uses a combined score/best ball format.

The annual Ryder Cup-style competition
features
top men and women collegiate players from the
United States
against their International counterparts.
Each team will be comprised of 12 men's and
12
women's golfers.
Day one will feature Mixed Four-Ball
competition, day
two will see Mixed
Foursomes in the morning and Four-Ball in the
afternoon, with 24 singles
matches on the final day.
