Sahith Theegala finishes Genesis Open Third Round 2-under

For the third time in three days Sahith Theegala was part of an early restart at the Genesis Open and once again the Pepperdine sophomore performed well
PACIFIC PALISADES, CA (February 19, 2017) -- For the third time in three days Sahith Theegala was part of an early restart at the Genesis Open and once again the Pepperdine sophomore performed well.
With 13 holes remaining in his third round when play resumed on Sunday and playing with Phil Mickelson and J.B. Holmes, Theegala put together an even-par 71 round of golf. Theegala, who started on No. 10, got as low as 2-under in his round before bogeying the 7th and 8th holes.
Overall it was a four birdie, four bogey round of golf for Theegala.
With a long day of golf at Riviera Country Club progressing, Theegala is currently on the course playing his final round.

Darkness was approaching quickly but some of those who made the cut, including Sahith Theegala were sent out to begin their Genesis Open third rounds.
Starting on the 10th hole at Riviera Country Club and playing alongside Phil Mickelson and J.B. Holmes the Pepperdine sophomore played the first five holes of his third round in even-par.
Theegala got off to a quick start with a birdie on his opening hole before dropping a shot on the 12th hole. Following a 14th hole par, play was called at 5:43 p.m. PST due to darkness. When play resumes on Sunday Theegala will be 2-under following rounds of 67-73 that helped him make the cut in his first career PGA Tour event.
For the third straight day Theegala will be on the course for an early restart, this time it will be a 6:50 a.m. start time.
