CAMDEN, SC (August 21, 2016) -- The brother team of Robert and David Dargan shot the low round of the day with a 64 and a two-day total of 10-under-par 130 to win the South Carolina Golf Associaion Mid-Amateur Four Ball Championship held at Camden Country Club in Camden, SC.

Battling gusty winds throughout the day, the brother tandem combined for seven birdies and one lone bogey on the tough par-4 17th hole. Having already teamed to win the Lefty Righty Championship earlier this year for the second year in a row along with a host of other SCGA Championships, this was this first Mid-Amateur Four Ball victory as a team for the Columbia duo.

Finishing tied for second at 9-under-par 131 were the teams of Kevin Hester and Dan Sullivan along with Aaron Jolley and Tripp Morrow. First round co-leaders Joe Hendrick and Daran Womack finished alone in fourth with a score of 132.

The 2016 SCGA Mid-Amateur Four Ball Championship was played at the par 70 – 6,310 yard Camden Country Club. The field consisted of 64 two-man teams playing Best Ball format conducted over thirty six holes. The Mid-Amateur Four Ball Championship is in its 22nd year of existence.
